Note that I no longer carry the black plastic version of the pump. My long-term tests have indicated that the harder graphite-infused black ABS has a tendency to wear and warp more quickly than the standard blue ABS. Further ESD is not a major issue at larger component sizes. 

So yes, black looks better, but blue is less expensive and more effective.
